Anni Sarvaranta takes over as Auris Energy Group CEO on 15 January, having previously led its gas businesses and served as Deputy CEO.

Additional gas stockholding charge took effect on 1 November 2023 – price impact around €0.35/MWh
European gas exchange prices have continued to fall throughout this year from last year’s peaks. This year’s decline has been driven by factors including lower gas demand and high fill levels in Europe’s underground gas storage facilities.

Our gas filling station in Tuusula will be closed on Thursday 21 September from 08:30 to 11:00 because of construction work on the nearby electricity network.

Mandatory stockholding charge increases on 1 July 2023 – price impact around €1.50/MWh
All sellers of gas or energy produced using gas must store fuel equivalent to a certain proportion of their total sales in mandatory stocks for exceptional situations.

Auris Energy’s service opens gas network access for off-grid biogas producers
Auris Energy is planning a service giving biogas plants outside the gas network, known as off-grid plants, access to the national gas system. As part of the service, Auris plans to build a gas injection station to which gas can be delivered from plants in containers.

Auris Energy acquires a majority stake in Mäntsälän Biovoima
Auris Energy has acquired a 72% majority stake in Mäntsälän Biovoima Oy. Mäntsälän Biovoima is a joint venture of Watrec Oy and Nivos Energia Oy producing biogas from food industry and retail side streams.

Auris Energy and Haminan Energia transaction completed – no immediate impact on customers
Auris Energia Oy has acquired Haminan Kaasuverkko Oy, part of the Haminan Energia Group, in a share transaction completed on 1 February. On the same day, Auris also acquired the group’s gas sales business serving price-list customers through a business transfer.
