Säkylä biogas project moves forward: join our information event on 21 October
We are planning a biogas plant in Säkylä with an investment of around €50 million. The plant seamlessly combines the circular economy with renewable energy production. Construction is scheduled to begin next year, with production starting in 2028.

Auris electrifies heat production at Halton’s Kausala factory as a service
Halton Oy and Auris Energy have signed an agreement to electrify heat production at Halton’s Kausala factory and improve the sustainability and cost-effectiveness of its energy use. Auris will build a new hybrid energy system at the factory, centred on air-to-water heat pumps, an electric boiler and intelligent energy optimisation.

Mäntsälän Biovoima expansion receives environmental permit
The Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland has granted an environmental permit for the expansion of operations at Mäntsälän Biovoima Oy’s biogas plant. The expansion will double the company’s biogas upgrading capacity and improve its ability to receive sludge.

Antti Huttunen strengthens Auris Energy’s industrial energy services
Auris Energy strengthened its industrial energy services team when Antti Huttunen joined as Concept Development Manager on 18 August 2025. Through his previous employer, Antti has gained extensive expertise in industrial energy service concept development and project development in the food and beverage, metals processing and chemical industries.
