AER’s turnkey service model means there is no need to hesitate about replacing or upgrading a heating system, even in winter. Together with our partners, we keep heating interruptions during the project as short as possible to make life easy for the customer.
This was a key priority for the owners of an industrial property in Helsinki when they commissioned AER to upgrade their heating system.
The customer wanted to replace the property’s natural gas boiler heating with a WarmaEko hybrid solution, but domestic hot water and heating needed to remain available during installation.
“We provide heat as a service and want to make our customers’ lives easier,” AER Sales Manager Timo Jokila says. “That includes the project phase.”
Minimising heating interruptions was central to the upgrade
AER’s contractor, Energytech Turku Oy, used AER’s own mobile heating trailer, equipped with three 115 kW gas condensing boilers, to minimise interruptions.
When the contractor disconnected the old natural gas boiler, the trailer supplied heat to the existing domestic hot water cylinder. This limited the heating interruption during that stage to just four hours.
Energytech dismantled the old 1,400-kilogram natural gas boiler into sections in the basement of the Sienitie property. The contractor then installed the new wall-mounted condensing boilers and one of the storage tanks before removing the old tank.
“The heating interruption after dismantling the old boiler and commissioning the new system lasted just one day,” Energytech operations supervisor and engine officer Kristian Katajamäki explains.
Low-emission, efficient heating as a worry-free service
The Sienitie property owner can now enjoy WarmaEko’s benefits: significantly reduced carbon dioxide emissions and improved energy efficiency.
Life is also easier for the customer, as AER takes care of operation, servicing and maintenance of the heating system as a turnkey service.
