We are looking for an energy trading specialist / portfolio manager for natural gas and biogas sales and procurement at our Espoo office.
You are an energy professional with at least a few years’ experience in the sector and a relevant technical or business degree. You may also be a recent or soon-to-be graduate with a strong master’s degree in technology or economics and business administration, provided you have relevant energy market knowledge and experience trading physical or financial energy products.
Working in a small team, you will manage Suomen Kaasuenergia’s purchase and sales portfolio of approximately 1 TWh in annual physical deliveries. As a small, agile company, we offer varied responsibilities: contract management, analysis, developing the gas sales product structure and, of course, day-to-day gas trading from spot transactions to derivatives for future years.
Experience of natural gas and its markets is an advantage, but electricity market knowledge and trading experience are also well suited to the role. We expect evidence of independent responsibility and an ability to work systematically with a long-term approach.
Strong Excel skills and fluent spoken and written English are essential.
