QHeat is one of Finland’s most promising start-ups

QHeat, part-owned by Auris Energiaratkaisut, has been selected by Talouselämä for its list of the most promising start-ups. Congratulations!

QHeat’s technology uses geothermal wells approximately 1,000–3,000 metres deep to harness renewable geothermal heat.

You can already obtain the nearly emission-free heating, cooling and seasonal energy storage produced by this future-focused solution from us, naturally as a turnkey service.

Nearly emission-free energy, particularly for dense urban areas and large properties

Energy produced with QHeat’s technology is suitable for large building complexes, such as shopping centres or entire city blocks. A single medium-depth geothermal well produces around 1 GWh a year.

Cooling demand makes the solution even more competitive. The wells can also serve as energy stores to balance seasonal variations in demand.

QHeat’s technology makes geothermal energy and energy storage possible in dense urban areas where there is no room for large borehole fields and land is expensive. A single medium-depth geothermal well requires only around one square metre of space and can heat an entire city block.

Energy from QHeat’s medium-depth geothermal wells can be incorporated into several AER products.
