The gas distribution business of Nivos Verkot Oy, part of the Nivos Group, was transferred to Auris Kaasunjakelu Oy, a subsidiary of the Auris Energy Group, in a transaction completed on 1 November 2022.
Auris Energy is Finland’s largest gas distribution and retail company. The Group has more than 1,000 kilometres of gas distribution network and over 25,000 gas customers. Auris Energy previously acquired the Nivos Group’s gas sales business.
Gas distribution in the Mäntsälä area will continue as normal
The transaction has no immediate impact on Nivos Verkot Oy’s customers. Gas distribution in the area will continue as normal.
Nivos will also continue to provide customer service and billing for the gas distribution customers transferring to Auris Energy until further notice, so customer service contact details will remain unchanged for now.
Auris Energy will notify customers separately when the transition period ends and the service provider changes. Billing and customer service will then transfer to Auris Energy automatically, without customers needing to take any action.
