People at Auris
Skilled people transform the energy sector together
Auris Energy is a Finnish gas and energy services company undergoing strong expansion. We own Finland’s most extensive gas distribution network, sell and produce renewable gas, and provide energy services for industry, housing companies, restaurants and households.
Working with us means taking practical action for cleaner, more efficient and more reliable energy. Our ambition is to be the most trusted energy partner for cost-effective emissions reductions.
Auris is a place for people who want to put their skills into practice, learn new things and build the next chapter of the energy sector together. We need new expertise particularly in renewable energy, digital technologies and the ways they work together. In recent years, we have recruited especially actively for our growing businesses, including energy services and renewable gas production.
Our culture: pride, togetherness and learning
Pride
Three words capture how we work: pride, togetherness and learning. We want to be known for our expertise, professionalism and reliability. Our skills mean that customers receive the energy they need at all times and gain business benefits from their energy solutions.
Togetherness
Working together matters to us. We nurture team spirit and a positive working atmosphere, support our colleagues and trust one another. Everyone matters equally.
Learning
Learning means having the courage to renew our approach, develop our skills and find solutions to customers’ changing needs. We want to stay agile and flexible even when our operating environment changes rapidly.
Wellbeing and people-centred leadership
Leadership at Auris is based on trust, open dialogue and a human approach. We make fair and equitable decisions, treat people as individuals and lead with clear goals while understanding the realities of everyday work.
Together, we achieve more: we respect, support and value one another. We encourage everyone to lead by example in building a positive team spirit.
Wellbeing at work comes from practical things: smooth day-to-day work, clear responsibilities, good leadership and a safe working environment. People also need time to recover. At Auris, taking annual leave is non-negotiable, and we have introduced care leave to support staff wellbeing.
Skills develop through work
Auris is an expert organisation where knowledge and skills matter. Many experienced energy professionals work with us. We are also building new expertise to meet the needs of a changing energy market.
In line with our strategy, we develop tools to nurture talent and skills. We want everyone at Auris to have opportunities to learn at work, share their expertise and grow as our business develops.
Expertise is not only technical knowledge. The ability to collaborate, solve customers’ challenges, act responsibly and adapt to a changing environment is equally important.
