Gas sales price list under the Tehotempo tariff

Valid from 1 January 2026 until further notice (applies to installations above 0.4 MW). Prices are based on the gross calorific value of natural gas.

Energy and transmission consumption charges are billed in €/MWh. Fixed charges are billed monthly in €/month.

Gas consumption is measured in normal cubic metres (m3n), which are converted into billable energy using the calorific value measured by Gasgrid Finland Oy.

1. Gas sales and pricing

1.1. Energy charge

1.1.1. Energy charge under index-based pricing [EMi]

The energy charge EMi is index-linked as described in section 1.4 and is adjusted monthly.

EMi = EM01 x AK

Contract-specific unit price for the energy charge:
EM01 = €25.13/MWh

The contract-specific unit price applies up to the contracted energy sales capacity (EMKT).

1.1.2. TTF-based energy pricing

We also offer TTF-based gas pricing. We particularly recommend it for customers whose gas use is reasonably consistent throughout the year, for example those using gas in industrial processes as well as heating.

1.2. Energy sales capacity charge [EMKM] and capacity [EMKT]

Energy sales capacity (EMKT) can be booked on an annual or monthly basis.

The annual energy sales capacity charge (EMKMy) is €2,739.00/MW/month.

The monthly energy sales capacity charge (EMKMm) is €3,385.00/MW/month.

The fixed transmission network capacity charge is €144.20/MW/month.

The buyer may change their monthly energy sales capacity for the remaining months of the current year by giving notice 14 days before the start of the month. Annual capacity cannot be changed during the year. Capacity charges are not index-linked. These charges cover capacity charges levied by the transmission system operator, Gasgrid Finland Oy.

1.3. Additional gas, additional gas charge [LKM] and additional gas surcharge [LKL]

Natural gas use exceeding the buyer’s annually and monthly booked sales capacity counts as additional gas use. Additional gas is the volume delivered during one (1) gas day (07:00–07:00) that exceeds the buyer’s combined monthly and annual sales capacity.

Additional gas charge [LKM] = energy charge [EM i, g] + additional gas surcharge [LKL] of €8.00/MWh + additional capacity (TSO additional transmission) of €11.48/MWh.

Auris Kaasuenergia may temporarily increase the additional gas surcharge [LKL] if the open supply price published by Gasgrid Finland rises exceptionally high.

1.4. Price linkages

The index linkage of the energy charge (section 1.1.1) is determined as follows. The AK index is based on forward prices fixed in advance on the TTF gas exchange. The price of each month’s estimated sales volume is hedged during the three months before delivery as follows:

• 15–25% of the estimated gas volume sold under the AK index is hedged approximately three months before the delivery month.
• 25–35% approximately two months before the delivery month.
• 25–35% approximately one month before the delivery month.
• The remaining approximately 5–35% of estimated sales is not hedged. For the index calculation, this portion is priced using the delivery month’s futures price.

The AK index value is published one month before the delivery month in Auris Kaasuenergia’s Auris Energia Flow online service.

The index linkage of the energy charge (section 1.1.1) is determined by the following formula:

AK is the index coefficient, calculated as follows:

AK = GasFX / EM0, where:

GasFX = the gas price fixed in several tranches for the delivery month, plus supply chain costs, in €/MWh.

EM0 = the base value of €25.13/MWh.

In addition to the prices above, we charge applicable VAT and energy taxes, along with any other taxes and statutory levies.

• The compulsory storage charge, excluding VAT, is €3.31/MWh (applies to heating use).
• The additional compulsory storage charge, excluding VAT, is €0.35/MWh (applies to all).
• VAT 25.5%

2. Other terms

Index-based gas pricing is based on Auris Kaasuenergia Oy’s pricing, and capacity charges are based on Gasgrid Finland Oy’s pricing. If Gasgrid Finland’s wholesale transmission tariffs, related terms, legislation or natural gas market authority regulations change, the seller is entitled to adjust prices accordingly.

Other terms governing natural gas energy sales are set out in the general sales and network service terms.

Auris Kaasuenergia Oy is responsible for gas sales and Auris Kaasunjakelu Oy for gas distribution to the customer. The customer receives a single invoice from Auris Kaasunjakelu covering both gas distribution and sales.

Distribution price list under the Tehotempo tariff

Valid from 1 April 2026 until further notice (applies to installations above 0.4 MW). Prices are based on the gross calorific value of natural gas.

From 1 April 2026, taxes on natural gas transmission, excluding VAT, are €21.077/MWh on a gross calorific value basis. From 1 April 2026, taxes on biogas transmission for heating, excluding VAT, are €1.172/MWh on a gross calorific value basis.

Consumption charges are billed in €/MWh. Fixed charges are billed monthly in €/month.

1. Gas distribution pricing (Auris Kaasunjakelu Oy)

1.1. Site charge

The site charge [KM] is based on the nominal capacity of the buyer’s delivery site and is calculated as follows:

KM = €685.57/month + (P x €109.67/month), where:
P = the customer’s connection capacity (MW)

1.2. Monthly and annual booked distribution capacity charges

The annual booked distribution capacity charge [STPv] is calculated as follows:

STPV = PTV x STMV

The annual booked distribution capacity PTV is agreed in advance each year and remains the same throughout the year.

The booked distribution capacity charge STMV is €2,719.85/MW/month.

The monthly booked distribution capacity charge [STPK] is calculated using the annual booked distribution capacity PTV:

STPK = PTV x STMK

The monthly booked distribution capacity is agreed annually and may be changed up to 14 days before the start of the relevant gas delivery month.

The monthly booked distribution capacity charge STMK is €3,091.37/MW/month.

1.3. Distribution consumption charge [SM]

The distribution consumption charge applies to all natural gas use within the booked annual distribution capacity.

The unit distribution charge is €11.13/MWh.

1.4. Additional distribution charge [LSM]

The additional distribution charge applies to distribution exceeding the annual booked capacity PTV and monthly booked capacity. Additional distribution is the volume transported during one (1) gas day (07:00–07:00) that exceeds the volume corresponding to the buyer’s combined monthly and annual booked capacity.

Additional distribution charge LSM = distribution consumption charge [SM] + €12.35/MWh.

From 1 April to 30 September, for customers in the tariff category above 10 GWh/year: additional distribution charge LSM = distribution consumption charge [SM] + €9.90/MWh.

2. Other terms

In addition to the prices above, we charge applicable taxes and statutory levies.

Auris Kaasuenergia Oy is responsible for gas sales and Auris Kaasunjakelu Oy for gas distribution to the customer. The customer receives a single invoice from Auris Kaasunjakelu covering both gas distribution and sales.
