Thank you for the past year. In the gas industry, 2017 will be remembered for the new Natural Gas Market Act, which increases competition from 2020. Interest in biogas has also led to clearly growing demand among customers. We continued accelerated investment in modernising Helsinki’s distribution network.
Our gas sales and distribution operations will now use the Suomen Kaasuenergia name. We have just launched new websites—please take a look!
In 2018, we will invest significantly in customer service. We will improve billing and other services by launching an online service platform and extending opening hours. Further details will follow early in 2018.
At the end of this announcement is the new price list for your gas use. Gas sales pricing is unchanged; transmission prices have risen slightly. Depending on your consumption profile, the new transmission price affects the total tax-inclusive delivered price by 3–4%. The new price lists take effect on 1 January 2018.
