AER supplies all the steam used by a major food manufacturer’s factory in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Demand is substantial: the factory produces millions of kilograms of meals and meat products each year.

“Auris has met our needs well, and availability has been at the level we require,” says the customer’s Maintenance Manager.
The steam required for production is generated by two 6.5 MW steam boilers fuelled by biogas and natural gas.
“Together with the customer, we have optimised steam production to achieve very high efficiency. This makes us an energy-efficient partner as well,” Hartikainen explains.
