Kotikokki 2 price list for housing companies 2026
This price list is valid from 1 January 2026 until further notice.
Housing companies are billed per property based on shared metering of gas consumption.
Natural gas and biogas sales prices (Auris Kaasuenergia Oy)
The natural gas consumption charge is adjusted monthly using the AK index multiplier. The multiplier is applied to the base consumption price of 3.67 euro cents/kWh (including VAT at 25.5%). AK index pricing is based on prices fixed in advance on the Dutch TTF gas exchange. Prices for the estimated sales volume for each month are fixed on the market during the three months preceding delivery.
As usual, the precise index value is announced one month before the delivery month in the Auris Kaasuenergia AEFlow online service.

Biogas sales prices:
Customers using biogas are charged a biogas surcharge of 8.16 euro cents/kWh in addition to the natural gas consumption charge.
Prices include VAT at 25.5%. The natural gas consumption charge shown above does not include the compulsory storage charge of 0.415 euro cents/kWh or the additional compulsory storage charge of 0.044 euro cents/kWh. The additional compulsory storage charge is added to the compulsory storage charge component shown on the invoice. Neither charge is added to the biogas price.
If the transmission system operator Gasgrid Finland Oy changes its pricing for the capacity charges included in your charges, Auris Kaasuenergia is entitled to adjust its prices accordingly.

Prices include VAT at 25.5%. Other taxes and tax-like charges in force at the time are added. From 1 April 2026, energy taxes on natural gas distribution, including VAT, are 2.645 euro cents/kWh. From 1 April 2026, energy taxes on biogas distribution, including VAT, are 0.147 euro cents/kWh. Prices are stated using the gross calorific value of natural gas.
Auris Kaasuenergia Oy is responsible for gas sales and Auris Kaasunjakelu Oy for distributing gas to the customer. The customer receives just one invoice from Auris Kaasunjakelu covering both distribution and sales charges. These charges are itemised on the gas invoice.
