“Most of the properties previously used oil heating, although some used electric or district heating,” Sales Manager Timo Jokila explains.
“The customers wanted to save money and upgrade their heating systems.”
No specialist knowledge or major investment required
The projects were delivered as a turnkey service, so customers do not need to be energy experts to benefit from an energy-efficient heating solution.
AER is responsible for equipment sizing, investment and installation, as well as maintenance and monitoring during operation.
“The customers’ heating output requirements range from 150 to 400 kilowatts,” Jokila says.
“Each property has two boilers to minimise potential disruptions. Each housing company is also covered by AER’s remote monitoring and on-call service.”
The housing companies enjoy hassle-free heating, produced efficiently and with lower emissions than before.
