January’s SK index value has been published

As previously announced, from the start of 2021 we will replace the K-energy index (K_ei-index) used in gas pricing with our own SK index.

The reason for the change is that the only company supplying Suomen Kaasuenergia with gas at K_ei -based prices has decided to stop selling gas using K_ei-based pricing.

The SK index works in the same way as K_ei-based pricing

The SK index works in the same way as the K_ei-index: the gas selling price for each month is calculated by multiplying the base prices in our gas product price lists by the SK index.

The SK index value for January is 0.74.

The index value is published on our extranet

In future, the SK index will be published on our SK Flow extranet one month before the delivery month.
