On 30 December 2022, Auris Energy and Haminan Energia agreed that Haminan Kaasuverkko Oy, part of the Haminan Energia Group, would join the Auris Energy Group through a share transaction completing on 1 February 2023. The gas sales business serving price-list customers will also transfer to Auris subsidiary Auris Kaasuenergia Oy through a business transfer on 1 February 2023.
Auris Energy is Finland’s largest gas distribution and retail company. The group has more than 1,000 kilometres of gas distribution network and over 25,000 gas customers.
The acquisition has no immediate impact on transferring gas supply or distribution customers. Gas distribution and sales in the Hamina area continue as normal.
Haminan Energia will continue providing customer service and billing for the transferring customers for the time being, so contact details remain unchanged.
Auris Energy will notify customers separately when the transition period ends and the service provider changes. Billing and customer service will then transfer automatically to Auris Energy, without customers needing to take any action.
