We strive to act responsibly, lawfully and in accordance with our ethical values in every situation. If serious problems arise in our operations, we want to know.
We have introduced a confidential reporting service, or whistleblowing channel, through which employees and stakeholders can safely report misconduct they have observed. You can submit a report if you suspect a crime, serious misconduct or other conduct contrary to our company’s values.
Routine feedback, such as customer feedback, should be submitted through other channels. For example, you can email asiakaspalvelu@aurisenergia.fi.
How do I submit a report?
We recommend first discussing your concern with the person responsible for the matter in our company. If you do not wish to raise it with them, you can use the reporting channel. You can report completely anonymously if you wish and communicate anonymously with the person handling your report.
How will my report be handled?
All reports are handled appropriately and confidentially. We always protect the confidentiality of the identities of the reporting person, the subject of the report and any other parties mentioned.
Only authorised handlers can access the report’s information, and we will not disclose your identity to outsiders without your consent. Reports are seen by designated people in our company. Other experts may also be involved in an investigation to ensure appropriate handling.
When will I receive a response?
Authorised handlers may ask you for further information through the reporting channel. Within three months, they will also respond through the channel about any action we may take based on your report. Please keep the code you receive after submitting your report so that you can log in later and communicate with the handlers.
You can access the reporting channel through the link in the footer of our website, www.aurisenergia.fi .
More information about protecting the reporting person’s identity
The reporting channel is provided with an independent external partner, Finland Chamber of Commerce, to protect anonymous reporters’ identities. Finland Chamber of Commerce provides the technical service and does not receive reports.
Handlers authorised by the company receive reports submitted through the channel and process them confidentially. Only authorised handlers can access reports.
A report can always be submitted anonymously. Handlers do not receive metadata or an IP address that could identify the reporting person. All reports are encrypted when created using a strong encryption algorithm that cannot subsequently be decrypted or altered. Handlers receive only the time and content of the report.
You may provide your name and contact details with your report if you wish. Only authorised handlers can access the information, and we will not disclose your identity to outsiders without your explicit consent, unless appropriate handling requires information to be passed to the authorities or similar measures.
Do not include sensitive personal data unless it is necessary to describe and handle the report.
