Eveliina Dahl and Mika Saukkonen join Auris Energy’s Board

Auris’s Board will be strengthened by two new members on 28 October. Eveliina Dahl and Mika Saukkonen bring strong backgrounds in the energy sector, strategic management and infrastructure development.

Eveliina Dahl has strong knowledge of the energy sector and extensive experience of strategic and operational management in large organisations. Her leadership roles at Fortum and Elisa have given her particular insight into human resources management, procurement and business development in a rapidly changing operating environment.

Mika Saukkonen’s experience in infrastructure investment and developing energy companies brings valuable expertise to the Board’s growth and investment decisions. His work with EQT’s infrastructure funds and the development of the biogas business at Ductor give him a broad perspective on renewable energy markets and opportunities.

Eveliina Dahl

  • MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management
  • Almost twenty years of experience at Fortum (2006–2024), including leadership roles in procurement, strategy and HR
  • Most recently a member of Fortum’s Executive Management team, responsible for HR, procurement and real estate
  • Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of the Executive Board at Elisa Oyj since the beginning of 2025
  • Board member at pension insurance company Varma

Mika Saukkonen

  • MSc in Engineering Physics
  • Began his career in investment banking at Danske Bank, followed by energy consulting at Pöyry
  • Worked with EQT’s infrastructure funds in 2012–2024, with extensive experience of critical infrastructure companies and the energy sector, including Adven in Finland
  • Has worked as an adviser, owner and investor in value creation, development and transformation processes at infrastructure and energy companies
  • Board member at Ductor, developing a commercial-scale biogas plant in the USA using poultry manure as feedstock and producing organic fertilisers and renewable natural gas
