We have begun preparatory work for the Säkylä biogas plant project. At this stage, the work focuses on the former, decommissioned plant site, where we will later locate facilities including the biogas and carbon dioxide processes.
We are removing loose materials that are no longer in use and treating biomass that has previously accumulated on the site.
The work may occasionally cause short-term odours. These are associated with handling the old materials and will disappear as the work progresses. Once the work is complete, the current decommissioned plant site will be tidier and have fewer odours than before.
