We are a Finnish energy company providing fuel and energy as a service for industry and properties. We help our customers improve energy efficiency through the cleanest and most efficient solutions, flexible and reliable energy, and continuous optimisation of energy use.

50%
less purchased energy and CO2 emissions

Our role is to turn energy efficiency and emissions reductions into measurable business benefits. We promise to significantly reduce our energy services customers’ carbon dioxide emissions and purchased energy during the first year of our partnership.
The Group
Our company comprises business units specialising in technology-neutral energy services, gas sales, gas distribution and biogas production.
- Auris Energiapalvelut provides comprehensive steam and heat services for industry and properties.
- Auris Kaasuenergia is Finland’s largest gas retail company. It focuses on finding the cleanest and best gas solution for customers and advising them on gas market conditions and predictable pricing.
- Auris Kaasunjakelu owns 1,200 kilometres of gas distribution network and distributes gas in more than 20 municipalities. We also ensure that the network can serve future energy solutions such as hydrogen and synthetic gases.
- Mäntsälän Biovoima is a biogas plant in Mäntsälä, wholly owned by Auris. We produce clean biogas and organic-grade fertiliser at the plant.
Energy.
More efficiently.
More cleanly.
Our promise, ‘Energy. More efficiently. More cleanly.’, guides our business and strategy. We help companies remain competitive and society move towards a cleaner future by providing comprehensive energy efficiency and the cleanest possible energy.
We provide our business customers with the cleanest possible energy and help them cut energy production emissions and improve energy efficiency every day.
Our own environmental responsibility target is to achieve carbon neutrality for direct operational emissions in 2035. In line with this goal, we will significantly increase the share of biogas and other carbon-neutral gases in all the gas we sell and distribute.
Our second main target is for all the heat and steam we produce to be carbon-neutral by 2035. Electrification and biomethane-based solutions are our main means of achieving this.
We continually make our procurement more responsible, including gas origin and respect for human rights.
We procure gas from suppliers who can verify that it does not originate in a country supporting the war in Ukraine.
We price our products on market terms, responsibly and competitively.
We have reduced methane emissions by investing approximately €20 million in modernising our gas distribution network. As a result, methane emissions have remained below 0.1% of the volume of gas distributed for several years. We continue to develop the network to maintain high safety standards and readiness for renewable gas distribution.
