Heat pumps and gas boilers
The old gas boilers were approaching the end of their service life
The heating system at this Helsinki property was nearing the end of its service life. The owner of the two industrial halls and office space also wanted to reduce heating costs.
The property had been heated solely by gas boilers. We added two air-to-water heat pumps and replaced the gas boilers with modern condensing boilers. The heat pumps now provide around three quarters of the property’s heat demand.
We took responsibility for the system
We took responsibility for operation, round-the-clock monitoring, servicing and maintenance. We also introduced modern control automation and energy and efficiency metering.
The installed heat pumps have a combined capacity of 75 kW. The three condensing boilers have a total capacity of 345 kW.
The agreement provided for ownership of the heating system to transfer to the customer at the end of the contract term.
