Replacing an oil boiler and upgrading a steam boiler
One old boiler removed, another modernised
DS Smith develops and supplies packaging solutions. Its Nummela factory previously used heavy fuel oil for heating. The heating system needed updating, and DS Smith also wanted lower heating costs.
Auris Energia removed the old oil boiler. A new gas condensing boiler and gas connection were installed, and the existing steam boiler was converted to run on gas.
Auris takes responsibility for heat production
The upgrade aimed to improve heating efficiency and reduce heating costs.
The site was connected to Auris Energia’s remote monitoring system. Auris monitors and operates the system and sells heat to the customer as a service.
