Mäntsälän Biovoima service description

Service description for waste suppliers and delivery terms for waste streams.

Mäntsälän Biovoima receives biowaste on weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm. We separately authorise trained drivers to operate outside working hours when required. Waste delivered on pallets is handled only on weekdays.

For waste transport, we require customer details and information about the haulage company and vehicles for weighbridge registration. Our certified weighbridge provides the basis for commercial transactions.

We treat waste in accordance with permit requirements and provide our customers with certificates of destruction. We upgrade the biogas produced from the waste into biomethane to replace natural gas. We supply the residual material to local farmers as organic fertiliser.

Permitted and prohibited contaminants in material for treatment

For the biogas plant pretreatment line to operate properly, contaminants in incoming material are restricted as specified in the table below.

Waste streams containing contaminants above the limits specified in the table must not be unloaded from transport vehicles into the plant reception tanks.
