We are a Finnish energy group. We sell and distribute natural gas and biogas, provide energy as a service for industry and large properties, and produce biogas in Finland.
We combine a secure energy supply, efficient energy production and lower-emission solutions. We help our customers develop their energy use in a planned way – from today’s needs towards a cleaner future.
We serve industrial businesses, property owners, the construction sector, housing companies, restaurants and households across Finland.
Our head office is in Kotka. We also have offices in Espoo, Kouvola, Lahti, Lohja and Tampere.

Four businesses working together
Our group companies handle gas procurement and sales, gas distribution, energy production for our customers and biogas production in Finland. Together, we improve energy availability and efficiency and help reduce emissions.
Auris Kaasuenergia
At Auris Kaasuenergia, we procure and sell natural gas and biogas in Finland. We serve around 17,000 customers and are Finland’s largest gas retailer by customer numbers and gas sales volume.
We help our customers choose the right gas solution for their needs and make energy procurement more predictable in a changing market.
Auris Energiapalvelut
At Auris Energiapalvelut, we provide energy as a service for industry and large properties. Our solutions cover heat, steam and cooling, as well as electricity-based hybrid systems, energy recovery and storage.
We plan and make the necessary investments and take care of plant operation, monitoring and maintenance. Our customers pay for the energy they use and can focus on their core business.
Auris Kaasunjakelu
At Auris Kaasunjakelu, we own and operate gas distribution networks in 22 municipalities in southern Finland. Our networks have a combined length of around 1,208 kilometres.
We develop our networks for the long term to keep gas distribution safe and reliable. At the same time, we improve their readiness to distribute renewable and synthetic gases.
Biogas production in Finland
We own Mäntsälän Biovoima Oy, where we process biowaste into biogas and recycled fertiliser.
We are expanding biogas production in Finland and developing solutions that will bring renewable gas into wider use across the Finnish energy system.
Growing in renewable gases and electricity-based energy services
Our strategy combines a stable core business with purposeful renewal. We develop gas sales and distribution networks, expand biogas production in Finland and invest in electricity-based energy services.
We help our customers improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions from energy use with solutions tailored to each site’s needs. At the same time, we ensure a secure energy supply, safety and reliable service.
We take practical steps towards lower-emission energy: increasing the share of renewable gases, electrifying energy production, recovering waste heat, and storing and optimising energy.
